Turai Chana Sabzi– Famous North Indian Sabzi Recipe | How to make tasty Tori Chana Sabzi at home | तोरी चना सब्ज़ी
Turai Chana Sabzi is one of the most popular, healthy and tasty vegetarian recipe in Indian subcontinents, specially in North India. This is one of the protein rich curry. It taste good with all kind of carb like rice, bread etc. The ridge guard is a kind of seasonal vegetable and mostly you get this in winter. In this preparation you need very less oil and spices.
Ingredients:
Ridge Guard ——— 500 gms
Gram ———–150 gms
Cooking oil —- 1 tbs.
Salt—- per taste
Turmeric Powder ———- 1/2 tsp.
Dry red Chilli —– 1 Piece.
Onion —— 1 medium size (Finely Chopped)
Ginger Garlic Paste ——-1 tbs.
Red Chilli Powder ——— ½ tsp.
Step by Step preparation of Tori Chana Sabzi
Heat 1 Tbs oil in a heavy bottom pan.
once oil becomes hot add whole red chili and cook for 20-30 sec.
Add chopped onion and cook till it will turn brown in color.
now add ginger +garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder and cook for one min on medium flame.
Add Socked Black gram and cook for another 2-3 min.
Now Add chopped Ridge gourd and mix it well let it cook for 5 min on medium flame with led on.
After 5min Add salt ( as per your taste) and give a good stir.
Now let the veggies get cooked in their own juice for 10-15 min with led on( Don’t forget to stir the veggies in small intervals).
once the curry will become thick Switch off the flame.(Don’t add extra water).
curry is ready to serve, for best taste always serve hot.
This curry can be served with Roti, Rice, poori, Paratha.
