Palak Paneer – Famous North Indian Sabzi Recipe | How to make tasty Palak Paneer like Restaurant at home| पालक पनीर

Palak paneer is a vegetarian dish, which is a variant of the traditional saag paneer that originated in north India, particularly Punjab, consisting of paneer (Indian cheese) in a thick paste made from puréed spinach and seasoned with garlic, garam masala, and other spices. Today Palak paneer is a popular Indian dish which has reached every corner of the world.

Ingredients:

  1. Spinach ——— 300 gms
  2. Paneer ——— 150 gms
  3. Onion ——— 1 medium size (Finely Chopped)
  4. Tomato ——— 1 medium size (Finely Chopped)
  5. Turmeric Powder ——— 1/2 tsp
  6. Cumin seeds ——— 1/2 tsp.
  7. Green Chilli ——— 2-3 pieces
  8. Salt ———  to taste.
  9. Sugar ——— 1/2 tsp.

 10. Cream ——— 1 tbs.

 11. Ghee ———   1 tbs.

 12. Ginger ———  1-2 inches

 13. Garlic ——— 2-3 Cloves.

 14. Kasoori Methi ——— 1 tsp.

Step by Step preparation of Palak Paneer Sabzi

Step1: Making of Palak Puree

  1. Heat a pan add ghee into it.
  2. Once ghee will become hot add green chili and Palak (Spinach)and cook it for2-3 min on high flame.
  3. Once cooked Palak(spinach) became cold than grind it into a smooth Paste.
  4. Palak Puree is ready to make Palak Paneer

Step 2: Making of Palak Paneer Sabzi

  1. Lets start by preparing a fine paste of tomato, garlic and ginger by grinding them all together.
  2. now take a pan on the stove and add ghee.
  3. Once the ghee will become hot add cumin seed and cook for 20-30 sec.
  4. Add chopped onion and cook till becomes golden brown In color.
  5. Now add turmeric powder and tomato paste and cook for 4-5 min or till it starts leaving oil.
  6. Add salt and sugar mix them well together.
  1. Add Kasoori Methi and Palak purée cook for 5 min on low flame.
  2. Add Paneer cubs and cook for 2-3 min with Palak.
  3. Garnish with some fresh cream.
  4. Palak paneer is ready to serve.

Important Tips:

To make the best Palak Paneer, Make sure you are using fresh Palak and fresh Paneer.
