Pineapple Raita:  Raita is the common name of a condiment from the Indian subcontinent, made with dahi (yogurt, often referred to as curd) together with raw or cooked vegetables. One of the healthy and best tasting one is Pineapple Raita, because of the sweet taste of Pineapple, when mixed with yogurt, it taste like anything. As this is a mixture of yoghurt and pineapple, this turns out to be one of the healthy option. It can be served as a minor side with any meal like breakfast, lunch and dinner. The closest approximation in western cuisine is a side dish or dip, or a cooked salad.

Ingredients:

  1. Pineapple —- 100gms
  2. Curd —- 200gms
  3. Sugar —- 2tsp.
  4. Roasted Cumin Powder —- 1/4 tsp.
  5. Black salt —- as per taste.
  6. Red Chilli Powder —- 1/4 tsp

Step by Step preparation of Paneer Paratha

  1. Whip the curd to smooth consistency.
  2. Add Sugar and black salt and mix it well.
  3. Add cumin powder and a pinch of red chilli powder.
  4. Mix it well.
  5. Now add Pineapple and mix it well.
  6. Raita is ready to serve.
  7. Serve it chilled.

Important Tips: To make the Pineapple Raita tasty and delicious, Make sure we are using sweet pineapple.
