Samosa Chutney – Famous Samosa Chutney Recipe | How to make tasty Samosa Chatni at home | समोसा चटनी
Samosa chutney is a sweet and mildly spicy chutney side dish, originating from the Indian subcontinent, that can be used with several snack foods and breakfast foods. It is great combination of tamarind and Jaggery cooked on low flame. After diluting this chutney to required consistency, it can be served. Samosa chutney is good to go as a side dish with any kind Samosa, Paratha, pakoda and many other snack foods and breakfast foods.
Ingredients:
Tamarind Pulp 1 bowl.
Sugar 1 bowl.
Black Cardamom 1 Piece.
Corn Starch 1 tbs.
Chilli Flakes 1 tsp.
Food Color 1 pinch(Optional)
Salt to taste
Water 2 bowl.
Step by Step preparation of Samosa Chutney (Sweet Indian Sauce)
Switch on the stove and Place a Sauce pan on it..
Add sugar and water and mix well, let the sugar dissolve completely.
Add Black cardamom and salt give a good stir.
Now Add Tamarind Pulp and chili flakes mix them well together, let the sauce boil on medium flame for 10-12 min.
Now Add 1-2 tbs water in cornstarch and make a thin batter, add it to the sauce and mix it well.
Add a pinch of food color and mix well( adding color is optional here).
Now let the sauce cook for another 4-5 min. Sweet chatni is ready to serve.
Important Tips: This sauce can be stored for 15-20 days in Fridge. Great to go with all kind of snacks.
