Paneer – Famous North Indian Paneer Recipe | How to make Fresh Paneer like Market at home | पनीर

Paneer: Since India is vastly vegetarian, it has developed appetizing techniques of substituting meat, and paneer is one such perfect replacement. Interestingly, it is said that paneer was an accidental invention by Mongols riding their horses carrying milk in Mushki (bags made of raw – hyde). The heat of desserts and the rennet in the leather turned the milk into paneer. The paneer was finally incorporated in to Indian foods during the days of the Mughal empire.

Ingredients:

  1. Milk   1 Liter (Full Cream)
  2. Vinegar 2-3 tsp.

Step by Step preparation of Paneer

  1. Heat a Pan and boil the milk to one boil.
  2. Switch off the gas and put 1-2 spoons of Vinegar and keep stirring.
  3. Paneer will get separated from water.
  1. Now strain the paneer and wash it properly.
  2. Now hang the Paneer for couple of hours.
  1. Paneer will be ready for use.

Important Tips: To make the Fresh and authentic, we need to make sure that we use full cream milk and wash the paneer properly in cold water.
